Coins - 1995 Mint Set -
larger images
Colorful and informative, the front of the insert in the 1995 mint set shows coin blanks and coins in a
dial-plate press which strikes the blanks into coins.
The picture shows what appears to be quarter sized blanks becoming quarter coins on the dial-plate coin press on
the front of the insert.
At the top of the inside of the insert, blue text on a white background provides descriptions of the machinery
shown on the front of the 1995 mint set and on the front of the insert.
The bottom section identifies "The 1995 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set." Below the title, blue
text describes the coins, their designs and their classic beauty along with the US Mint's processes for
producing and protecting the uncirculated coins. Except for the "1995," this text is exactly the
same as that included in the previous year's mint set.
On the back of the insert in the 1995 mint set, a black font in a black grid on a white background clearly
notes the coin specifications for each of the five uncirculated coins in the mint set. The coin
specifications include the metal composition, the weight and the size in addition to the designs and the
artists for the obverse and reverse of each coin.
