Coins - 1993 Mint Set -
larger images
The 1993 mint set included a simple yet striking insert that was both colorful with its green color and
informational with its description of the five uncirculated coins from each of the two mints.
The images of the five uncirculated coins contrast against the green color of the front insert in the 1993 mint
set. In white letters, the text states, "Enduring images of America, Symbols of Democracy, Known
throughout the World."
Inside the insert, the top simply states, "The 1993 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set"
in green letters on a white background.
The bottom of the insert describes the coins, their designs and their classic beauty. Briefly, the text
describes the US Mint's processes for producing the uncirculated coins to "exacting standards" in
their Denver and Philadelphia mint locations.
The back of the insert in the 1993 mint set shows the coin specifications for each of the five uncirculated
coins in the mint set. The coin specifications include the metal composition, the weight and the size in
addition to the artists for both the obverse and reverse designs.
