Coins - 1990 Mint Set - larger images

On the front of the insert for the 1990 mint set, the US Mint included the obverse images of the five uncirculated coins and the two mint tokens that were inside the mint set. In addition, they showed other collectibles in the form of stamps, a sports card and a political button. The collectibles appear to be on a wooden desk just waiting for a collector to examine them.

Inside the folded insert, the US Mint's message in the 1990 mint set is titled "Striking Reminders of America's Heritage" and provides historical comments about the US Mint and about each individual coin in uncirculated coins set.

Under "A Few Words About The Coins," the commentary provides information about the designs on the coins and their artists along with their release and production.

The coin specifications were included on the back of the folded insert and provided the details about each of the five uncirculated coins including the metal composition, the weight and the size in addition to the artists for both the obverse and reverse designs.
