The front of the insert in the 1987 mint set shows obverse images of the five coins and the two tokens on
the background of red and white with a blue stripe. As on the envelope, the red color looks to be a draped
cloth rather than a solid color of red paper.
The message from the mint begins by describing the mint processes, the number of coins produced each year
and how the uncirculated sets differ from coins in circulation.
