Reminder: Coin Show, Sunday, December 11

The last monthly Greater Atlanta Coin Show for 2011 is this Sunday, December 11.

The coin show welcomes everyone from the experienced numismatist to the curious newcomer. The show hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and admission is free.

The Greater Atlanta Coin Show is held each month at the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel and Conference Center located at 500 Powder Springs Street south and just slightly west of the historic Marietta Square.

Each month, the coin show includes coin dealers from the Atlanta area and the southeast including Alabama, Tennessee and other parts of Georgia.

These coin dealers offer rare coins and currency along with bullion collectibles in silver and gold. The coin dealers also provide free verbal quotes for coins and bullion that is good during the show. (Markets change so rapidly these days, the coin dealers cannot guarantee prices for the future.)

People visiting the coin show can buy, sell and just browse what the coin dealers brought to the show.

And, for those new to the coin show, several of our dealers have long drives or other commitments and need to leave the coin show by mid afternoon. Arrive early to find the most opportunities and the most dealers.

For more information, you can visit the coin show’s main page, the list of coin dealers, and the location and directions to the coin show.

Currently, the weather for the area is projected to be mostly sunny and brisk at 50 degrees.

So, mark your calendars and join us for the last monthly Greater Atlanta Coin Show for this year!
