Reminder: Coin Show This Sunday, 11/13/2011

For 2011, the next to the last monthly Greater Atlanta Coin Show is this Sunday, November 13, 2011.

The monthly coin show’s location is the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center located at 500 Powder Springs Street just south of the historic Marietta Square in Marietta, Georgia. Information, including pictures, about the location and directions can be found on our main web site.

For the general public, the coin show opens at 9 am and closes at 5 pm, and admission is always free. Whether you are an experienced coin collector, new to the hobby or just curious, you are welcome to attend. Or, if you have some coins you are considering selling, you are welcome, too.

In addition to displaying and selling numismatic items, the coins dealers provide free, verbal appraisals for coins, currency and bullion items you may want to sell.

The coin dealers at the coin show have a variety of interests and expertise and will make offers for the items you want to sell. Being in competition with each other, each coin dealer will make the best offer they can for any items they want to buy.

You can learn more about the frequent dealers to the coin show on our Coin Dealers web page.

Please remember, the coin show’s official hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, but some of our dealers have long drives or other plans for their Sunday evening. Several of the coin dealers begin packing and leaving in midafternoon. With the time change and earlier darkness, there will be more dealers leaving earlier.

Currently, the weather for Sunday is showing partly cloudy and 68 degrees which will equate to a beautiful day in the metro Atlanta area.

Mark your calendar and plan to visit the coin show on Sunday!
