We’ve had fun with the coin challenges, and we just added a new one. Take a look at this Coin Challenge – Rosebud to see if you know which coin includes this beautiful rose.
Flowers are not a frequent element in the coinage from the US Mint, but the artists did include flowers on several different coins through the years.
Take a look at the picture and the hints to see if you recognize this one.
We may add more hints between now and the next coin show. We will post the answer to the coin challenge after the June 2011 monthly coin show.

As a reminder, the earlier coin challenges included Boots, a Clock, a Cloud and a Gazebo as our earlier teasers. Now, we’ve added the Rosebud.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to identify the coin and whether the image is on the obverse or the reverse.
