The Georgia Numismatic Association’s annual coin show starts tomorrow, Friday, April 15, 2011, at the North West Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton, Georgia.
The coin show hosts dealers from around the country at the three-day show.
Interstate 75 provides easy access to the convention center off Exit 333. At the end of the ramp, go west up the hill on Dug Gap Battle Road for less than a mile. The convention center will be on the left.
The coin show’s bourse opens to guests at 10 am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Other events are scheduled at the show to be interesting and educational for numismatists – new and experienced, young and older.
On Friday and Saturday, the bourse closes at 6 pm and at 3 pm on Sunday, the last day. Though, as with many coin shows, some of the dealers leave earlier, thus guests need to arrive earlier in the day for a better selection and early in the three-day show for the best selection.
The coin show offers buying, selling and trading of coins, currency and bullion – gold silver and platinum. Of course, some dealers have other interests as well and will display sports, stamps, medals and other medal collectibles too.
